Join us for our Pay-What-You-Choose (PWYC) and Theatre Night For Teens (TNT) event for August Wilson's THE PIANO LESSON on August 31 at Everyman Theatre.
About the Play:
This Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece, presented as part of Baltimore’s August Wilson Celebration, tells the story of a pair of siblings and the fate of their cherished family heirloom: a piano carved with images of their ancestors previously owned by the family’s former enslavers. Set in 1930s Pittsburgh, the play weaves history and spirituality together in a haunting narrative that explores the conflict between protecting one’s heritage and forging a path into the future.
Pay-What-You-Choose Sunday:
A final dress rehearsal open to the public the Sunday before our previews begin. All 250 seats are General Admission and are filled on a first-come-first-serve basis.

About Theatre Night For Teens (TNT):
The ultimate social event for high-school aged students who want to see a play, meet other teens interested in theatre, and engage directly with the artists who create professionally! Students in grades 9-12 are invited to TNT, a teens-only event which takes our shows to a whole new level. Join us for dinner, inside access to the show, pre- and post-show discussions with production artists, and, of course, dessert! All TNT events are $23. TNT starts at 5:30PM
